Islamabad August 12 2021: Record highest power generated and transmitted yesterday at 24,467 MWs, says Minister for Energy, Hammad Azhar.
In 2020, peak load registered was 23,370 MW for one day and in 2018 it was just 20,811 MW. Average power demand and supply during these summer months is approximately 20 percent more vs last year.
