The government on June 2, 2021 raised PKR 832 billion through auction of market treasury bills.
The government received total bids of worth PKR 1,696 billion and the highest bids of PKR1,120 billion for 6M T-bills followed by PKR446 billion for 3M and PKR130 billion for 12M.
The cut-off yields for 3M paper remained unchanged at 7.35 percent while for 6M and 12M it is down slightly by 1bps and 2bps to 7.59 percent and 7.67 percent, respectively.
The government raised PKR 832 billion in latest auction. Mostly raised in 6M which was PKR 573 billion followed by 3M of PKR 258 billion and 12M 1 billion. The target for the auction was PKR 700 billion.
