Peshawar August 26 2022: Deputy Commissioner Nowshera has appealed to the people of his district that Nowshera Kalan (Jumlaabadi), Amangarh Gujjar Basti, Khat Kale, Pir Saak, Dhobi Ghat in Nowshera Cantt. , Misri Banda, Marhati, Watar (right side of GT Road), Taj Mahal Restaurant, Ajmeri and Alam Garden Hall, Osmania Shadi Hall and Restaurant, River View and Korba Restaurant, Akora Khattak, Baghbanabad, Jahangira and adjoining areas citizens should immediately vacate their houses and move to a safe place.
In one of his audio messages, he said that those who can leave the district and go to Peshawar should leave immediately as the GT Road may also get 2 to 3 feet of water.
He said that so far it is confirmed that four lakh cusecs of water is going to enter Nowshera in the next few hours and electricity may also be cut at night, so those who want to go should start leaving at that time.
