Islamabad January 17 2025: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder and chairman Imran Khan was sentenced to 14 years in prison in a £190 million case.
Judge Nasir Javed Rana delivered the verdict in the £190 million case against Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi in Adiala Jail.
The court sentenced Imran Khan to 14 years in prison with hard labor and a fine of PKR 1 million in the £190 million case, while Bushra Bibi was sentenced to 7 years in prison and a fine of PKR 5 million.
The judge said in his verdict that if Imran Khan does not pay the fine, he will be sentenced to another 6 months in prison, while Bushra Bibi will have to spend another 3 months in jail if she does not pay the fine.
In addition, the court ordered the government to take Al-Qadir Trust University into custody, while Bushra Bibi was arrested from the courtroom after the judge delivered the verdict, and Judge Nasir Javed Rana left the court after delivering the verdict.
