Real Effective Exchange Rate Further Improves to 97.4 in August: SBP

Karachi September 17 2021: The real effective exchange rate (REER) depreciated to 97.4 in Aug21 compared to 99.4 in Jul21, as per data released by State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).

The REER is down by 2.1% on a monthly basis and 5.4% from its recent peak in Apr21.
