Jun 09, 2021: Country reported 1,118 news cases on Jun 08, 2021 compared to average of 2,489 cases during last 30 days with that active cases declined to 44,987 which is the lowest level since March 27, 2021.
Pakistan’s coronavirus positivity rate declined to 2.5% compared to 30 days’ average of 5.4%. The positivity rate is lowest since Oct 20, 2020.
Sindh and Baluchistan were the most affected, as positivity rate witnessed at 4.5% and 7.8%, respectively.
In Punjab and Islambad, positivity rate witnessed at 1.3% and 1.5%, respectively.
Total 77 new deaths reported, highest reported in Punjab 48, followed by 20 in Sindh and 6 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
