Pakistan to Receive $2 Billion from Saudi Arabia in Few Days

Islamabad April 15 2023: Saudi Arabia to transfer USD 2 billion in next few days to Pakistan and will invest USD 10 billion in next two years, says SAPM to Prime Minster Shahbaz Sharif who met with Saudi ambassador for Pakistan yesterday.

"Pakistan will receive USD 2 billion deposit in the SBP within a few days from KSA. A further USD 10 billion pledged by the Saudi Crown Prince will be invested in the Energy & IT sectors over a period of 2 years. More crucially, large numbers of manpower from Pakistan will be engaged in the Saudi Vision 2030. Our nation owes a special gratitude to the PM Shahbaz Sharif for extracting Pakistan from its dire financial straits."

"I acknowledge & thank the Saudi diplomatic & financial support for Pakistan throughout our history, especially during this critical phase" he added.

His Excellency the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Pakistan, Mr. Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Maliki, received today His Excellency the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister, Mr. Jawad Sohrab Malak, where during the meeting they exchanged cordial conversations and discussed issues of common concern.

Jawad Sohrab met Saudi ambassador to Pakistan, H. E. Nawaf bin Said Al-Maliki yesterday in Islamabad.
