Karachi August 5 2021: PSO saves PKR 2.4 Billion by retendering RLNG cargo for the month of August 2021, reported by the company.
PSO is happy to announce that the retender done for the procurement of RLNG for the delivery period August 29-30, 2021 (after scraping the initial tender on July 27, 2021 due to high rate of US$20 per mmbtu), was opened today.
The lowest bid translates into USD 15.9271 per mmbtu from Qatar, which is very competitive with current market rates. Keeping our nation’s best interest foremost, and through prudent decision making, PSO has saved the national exchequer PKR 2.1 billion.
