Islamabad September 11 2023: APTMA reported that textile commodity exports experienced a 13 percent growth in August 2023 compared to the previous month.
However, textile exports in August 2023 saw a decline of 6 percent, amounting to USD 1.48 billion, as opposed to the USD 1.58 billion recorded in August 2022.
Furthermore, the exports of textile-related products registered a substantial decrease of 19 percent from January to August 2023, totaling USD 10.58 billion, in contrast to the USD 13.0 billion figure for the same period in 2022, as per data from the APTMA Research Department.
