Islamabad October 4 2023: APTMA reported that textile commodity exports experienced a 5.1 percent incline in October 2023 compared to the same period last year.
This is the first time since September 2022 that textile exports post positive growth.
Moreover, textile exports in October 2023 saw a increase of 5.1 percent, amounting to USD 1.43 billion, as opposed to the USD 1.36 billion recorded in October 2022.
Furthermore, the exports of textile-related products registered a substantial decrease of 16 percent from January to October 2023, totaling USD 13.34 billion, in contrast to the USD 15.88 billion figure for the same period in 2022, as per data from the APTMA Research Department.
