Islamabad April 30 2024: The government on Tuesday decided to decrease the prices of petroleum products for next fortnight based on variation in the international markets, finance ministry said in a statement issue here.
“The government has decided to Slash the current prices of Petrol and High Speed Diesel (HSD) by PKR 5.45 liter and PKR 8.42 per liter during the fortnight starting from 1st May, 2024, as recommended by Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority(OGRA),” it said.
Accordingly, petrol would be available at new rate i.e. PKR 288.49 per liter whereas HSD would be sold at PKR 281.96 per liter.
