Karachi April 6 2023: SBP foreign exchange reserves for the week ending Mar 31, 2023, were down by USD 36 million to USD 4,208 million as per data released by the Central Bank.
At present, SBP reserves stand at the level of USD 4,208 million as of 31st March 2023 compared to USD 4,244 million at the end of the week ending 24th March 2023.
During the same period, foreign exchange reserves held by commercial banks also decreased by USD 20 million to the level of USD 5,552 million as of 31st March 2023.
Overall reserves held by the country witnessed a decrease of USD 56 million to USD 9,760 million during the week ending 31st March 2023.
