Karachi January 17 2022: Sui Southern Gas High Pressure Main Line damaged at Vita Chowrangi during development work this evening according to Sui Southern Gas Company spokesman said.
Sui Southern staff reached the spot and shut off the gas from DMS Azimpura, the spokesperson said.
Excavation work is underway to find the affected area.
Korangi’s domestic and industrial areas, as well as DHA’s gas supply, has been affected.
Sui Southern staff is working to supply gas to these areas and Gas supply is expected to be restored by 10pm, spokesman Sui Southern said.
