Quetta August 25 2022: Due to floods and heavy rains in Pakistan's Balochistan province, the largest area wise province, gas supply to different areas of the province has been suspended due to another 12-inch diameter gas pipeline between Quetta and Bolan being swept into the flood channel.
According to the spokesman SSGC Quetta, gas will not be supplied to Mastung, Kalat, Pishin and other areas of Balochistan due to overflowing of the pipeline.
According to the spokesman, on August 19, a 24-inch diameter gas pipeline was severely damaged by a flood relay at the same location and its restoration work was not possible due to continuous heavy rains.
