Federal Cabinet Decided To Withdraw The Services Of Supreme Court Registrar, Demand President To Sign Act

Islamabad April 4 2023: In the Federal Cabinet meeting presided over by the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shahbaz Sharif, it has been decided to withdraw the services of the Registrar Supreme Court and he has been instructed to report to the Establishment Division.

In an emergency meeting chaired by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif at the Prime Minister House on Monday, consultations were held on the country’s political situation, constitutional, legal and parliamentary issues.

According to the announcement issued after the meeting of the federal cabinet, the meeting discussed the agenda in detail. Federal Law Minister Senator Azam Nazir Tarar and Attorney General briefed the cabinet on various issues.

The Federal Cabinet considered the issue of the circular issued by the Registrar Supreme Court against the order of the Supreme Court.

The Federal Cabinet decided to withdraw the services of the Registrar Supreme Court and directed him to report to the Establishment Division.

The Federal Cabinet demanded President Dr. Arif Alvi to sign the Supreme Court Practice and Procedure Act 2023 immediately so that the country can get rid of the constitutional and political crisis.
