COVID-19: Lowest cases in a single day since October 20, 2020

Country’s COVID-19 positivity rate declined to 1.7 percent

Jun 22, 2021: Country reported 663 news cases on Jun 21, 2021 compared to average of 1,643 cases during last 30 days with that active cases declined to 33,452.

Daily cases are the lowest since October 20, 2020.

Active cases are lowest since March 21, 2021.

Pakistan’s coronavirus positivity rate remained 1.7 percent compared to 30 days’ average of 3.4 percent.

Positivity rate is lowest since October 18, 2020.

Sindh and Baluchistan were the most affected, as positivity rate witnessed at 3.7 percent and 5.8 percent, respectively.

In Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Islamabad, positivity rate witnessed at 0.6 percent, 0.8 percent and 0.6 percent, respectively.

Total 27 new deaths reported, highest reported in Punjab 17, followed by 5 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and 3 in Sindh.

Lowest deaths reported since March 21, 2021.
