Jun 16, 2021: Country reported 1,038 news cases on Jun 15, 2021 compared to average of 2,123 cases during last 30 days with that active cases declined to 39,905.
Active cases are the lowest since March 25, 2021.
Pakistan’s coronavirus positivity rate remained 2.5 percent compared to 30 days’ average of 4.3 percent.
Sindh and Baluchistan were the most affected, as positivity rate witnessed at 4.4 percent and 4.7 percent, respectively.
In Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Islambad, positivity rate witnessed at 1.4 percent, 1.3 percent and 0.9 percent, respectively.
Total 46 new deaths reported, highest reported in Punjab 19, followed by 17 in Sindh and 6 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
