Citi Pharma Board of directors has decided to increase the number of beds of the hospital from 50 to 200, in a board meeting held yesterday to review the financial performance for the first half of 2022.
In the period under review net sales of the company has improved to PKR 4,841 M as compared to PKR 2,631M in the corresponding period of the last year and registered a growth of 84 percent. Similarly, the GP has improved to PKR 701M as compared to 410M of the last year corresponding period, in monetary terms.

Net profit of the company has improved to PKR 343M as compared to PKR 168M of the previous period an increase of almost 100 percent in monitory terms in spite of the expenses incurred on the listing of the company during the period under review.
On quarter basis there is an increase of sales of the company from 1,990M to 2,850M and registered an increase of 43 percent from the previous quarter. Gross profit has improved to 405M as compared to 296M from the previous quarter and witness an increase of 37 percent. Net profit of the second quarter has improved to PKR 261M as compared to 81M and registered an increase of 222 percent on quarter basis, in the first quarter listing expense of PKR 129M was incorporated otherwise the profit could have been 210M.
