Lahore March 30 2023: Bestway Cement Limited has started cement production from Paikel site with a capacity of 7,200 tonnes per day, according to company filing to the exchange.
"We are pleased to inform you that Bestway Cement Limited has completed the construction and installation of a Greenfield cement plant with a capacity of 7,200 tonnes of clinker per day near Paikhel, District Mianwali” says Company Chairman Sir Mohammed Anwar Pervez.
The new plant has commenced cement production on 29th March 2023.
Bestway has already commenced cement production on 17 February 2023 from brownfield line of 7,200 tonnes of clinker per day along with 9 MWs Waste Heat Recovery Power Plant at Hattar site.
Both these expansions will take the total company capacity to 14.5 million tons which is still fall short of Lucky Cement capacity of 15.3 million tons.
