Banking Deposits Dropped 5 Percent During The Month Of July 2021: SBP

Karachi August 7 2021: Banking deposits dropped by approximately 5 percent during the month of July 2021 to PKR 18.8 trillion compared to PKR 19.8 trillion at the end of June 2021, as per data published by State Bank of Pakistan.

Advances also dropped during the month but at a lesser pace of 1.3 percent to PKR 8.88 trillion at July 2021 from PKR 8.99 trillion at the end of June 2021.

On the contrary, investments showed growth 2.6 percent to PKR 14.1 trillion at the end of Jul'21 compared to PKR 13.7 trillion at June 2021.
