Karachi November 28 2022: According to All Sindh Sarafa Jewelers Association, the price of gold per tola increased by PKR 1,850 per tola for 24 Karat on Monday (PST 21:00).
After this increase, the price of gold per tola in the country has reached 1 lakh 61 thousand 850 after touching high of 1 lakh 62 thousand 100 in today’s trading session. During last week the price of Gold increased by PKR 1,700 per tola.
Gold prices in Pakistan touched all time high of PKR 162,500 per tola on July 28th this year.
The price of 24 karat 10 grams of gold trading at PKR 1 lakh 38 thousand 760, whereas that of 10 gram 22 karat went up to PKR 127,196, All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association reported.
The per tola silver is trading at PKR 1,820 against yesterday price of PKR 1,800.
Gold prices slipped from more than one-week high on Monday, as the dollar and U.S. Treasury yields edged up from session lows, with investors awaiting Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell’s speech later this week for clues on the rate-hike path.
Spot gold fell 0.4% to $1,749.54 per ounce by 1019 a.m. ET (1519 GMT), after hitting its highest since Nov. 18 earlier in the day. U.S. gold futures fell 0.3% to $1,749.10.
