Subscriber Digital ID is designed to be universally unique and considerably more secure than the current SIM authentication applied for two-factor authentication.

WorldCall is all set to convert all its current subscriber base onto the new platform by the end of June 2022 and plans to open its blockchain for third party applications in the health and service sector. After deployment, WTL plans to invest in platform enablement for third party service applications and has already carried out integration testing for a ride-hail and health service offering.
Besides in-house development initiatives, WTL plans to engage the resources of the University of Central Punjab ‘Blockchain Centre of Excellence’ for app development and integration with the blockchain platform. Blockchain architecture being deployed is based on ‘proof of stake’, a greener than previous generation blockchain platforms. Based on third/fourth generation blockchain architecture WTL deployment has a much higher processing capacity on a real-time basis. WTL subscribes to the shared economy philosophy and would open its blockchain network to third party integration for EMI and financial service operations. It would result in a cheaper cost to market with access to the WTL subscriber base assured on inception – an immense boost to any startup in the service sector.
