Karachi January 05, 2022: TRG Pakistan Limited Board of Directors election will take place on 11th January 2022 in Pakistan. This time due to significant rally in stock price and exposure of many businesses groups in stock as much as 26 contestants are running to get one out of 10 seats at company board. Most of the directors running for seat are existing retiring directors.

Mr. Hasnain Aslam: Hasnain Aslam is a Director as well as the Chief Executive Officer of TRG Pakistan Limited. He is also a Founding Partner and the Chief Investment Officer at The Resource Group (TRG). He has spearheaded TRG’s growth through over 25 acquisitions and divestitures since its inception in 2002. He serves on the boards of several TRG companies, including Afiniti, where has been a Board member since inception. Prior to TRG, Hasnain managed Corporate Development at Align Technology and was an investment banker at JP Morgan in New York and San Francisco, where he managed over $100 billion in transactions in mergers & acquisitions as well as Corporate Finance. Hasnain also served as Chairman of the Board of OPEN, Washington D.C. from 2015 through 2020, and is a board member of the D.C. Chapter of The Citizens Foundation USA (TCF), where he has helped raise over $20 million for TCF. Hasnain has an A.B. with Honors from Harvard University, and his diverse interests include automobile racing, sports, travel, and Urdu poetry.
Mr. Mohammedulla Khaishgi: Mohammed Khaishgi has served as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of Ibex Limited since September 2017. Mr. Khaishgi was a founding partner and served as the Chief Operating Officer of TRGI, a position he held since TRGI’s inception in 2002 until December 2017, responsible for overseeing TRGI’s day-to-day operations, including management and oversight of its portfolio of direct holdings. Mr. Khaishgi continues to serve as a Director of TRGI. Prior to joining TRGI, Mr.Khaishgi was a Senior Director of Align Technology, where he managed Align’s offshore delivery center and back office services operations. Mr. John Leone: John is the Managing Director of ForeVest Capital Partners, LLC, an advisor to an investor in TRGI. John works on sourcing, negotiating and executing private equity transactions in Europe, Latin America, the Middle East and Africa. Prior to this role, John was General Counsel of PineBridge Investments’ Emerging Markets Private Equity operations. Earlier in his career, John was an attorney at Kirkland & Ellis LLP where he focused on advising private equity clients. John earned a Juris Doctor, with High Honors, from The George Washington University Law School where he was a member of the Law Review, and a Bachelor of Arts, Magna Cum Laude, from the State University of New York at Binghamton.
Mr. Patrick McGinnis: Patrick is the Managing Partner at Dirigo Advisors, a private equity advisory business focused on emerging markets. Earlier, Patrick was a Vice President at Pinebridge Capital (formerly AIG Capital Partners) where he led his firm’s investment in TRG. Patrick started his career in investment banking at JP Morgan where he was an Associate. Patrick received his MBA from Harvard Business School and his BA from Georgetown University.
Mr. Asad Nasir: Asad Nasir is currently serving as Group Head, Ecosystem Development and Sustainable Finance at JS Bank. He has over 20 years of diversified financial services experience including Private Equity, Corporate Finance Advisory, Capital Market Advisory, Transaction Services and Audit. Prior to his current role, Asad has served as the Chief Investment Officer for JS Private Equity and the Pakistan Catalyst fund, a USD 50 million private equity fund which included USAID in its investors. Before that Asad was Head, Corporate Finance at JS Global Capital, a leading Pakistani securities brokerage and investment banking firm. At JS Global, Asad advised some of Pakistan’s leading companies on fundraising, mergers and acquisitions and corporate restructurings. Mr. Zafar Iqbal Sobani: Zafar Iqbal Sobani brings with him over forty years of experience of the audit profession and manufacturing & power sectors of Pakistan and the Middle East. Currently he is engaged in finance, business and power sector consultancy in addition to be an entrepreneur. Continuing his journey in the power sector he joined as CEO of HUBCO in 2011, overlooking all three of its IPP based power projects of around 1500 MW. His final assignment in the corporate sector came at House of Habib in 2013 where he was involved in new project development and real estate development for two years He has been the President of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) and served actively in council and regional committee in various capacities between 1993 and 2005. He also remained Chairman of Quality Control Board for nine years from 2006 and was entrusted with the objective of overseeing the quality of audit assurance work in Pakistan. Ms. Fatema Tuz Zahra Munir Ahmed: Fatema Tuz Zahra Munir Ahmed is currently serving as a MD / CEO, Hamdard Laboratories (Waqf) Pakistan, the largest herbal manufacturers in Pakistan, which also exports its products to over 50 countries globally and an organization active in fields of Health, Education and Philanthropy. Fatema Tuz Zahra Munir Ahmed joined Hamdard in 2000 as a Trustee and is currently working as Governing Member, Hamdard Foundation Pakistan, a Philanthropic arm of the group. She also serves as Vice President of Hamdard University, on of the largest private sector universities in Pakistan and also serves as Director, Hamdard School of Law. Mr. Yasir Ahmed Awan: Yasir Ahmed Awan is presently Director on Board Sitara Peroxide Ltd. (Sitara Group Faisalabad) since November 2016. Other Directorship includes Ghani Global Glass Ltd. (Ghani Group Lahore). He has also served as Director on the Board of The Resource Group (TRG) Pakistan Ltd. and was named to this position in February 2010. Mr. Muhammad Ziaullah Khan Chishti: Muhammad Ziaullah Khan Chishti is a Pakistani-American investor and business executive. He is the founder of Afiniti and TRG Global. After starting his career as Morgan Stanley Investment banker, Chishti invented the medical device Invisalign and co-founded Align Technology to market the product in 1997. He served as CEO of Align until 2003, when he founded the investment fund The Resource Group. In 2005 he co-founded both Orthoclear and Afiniti, the latter of which develops artificial intelligence for use in customer call centers. Chishti was a named inventor on around 150 issued patents by 2018, and had co-founded three unicorn startup companies.
Ms. Saadia Khawar Khan Chishti: Saadia Khawar Khan Chishti is the founding president of CHEC-Pakistan, a chapter of CHEC- London. She obtained her M.Sc. and Ph.D in education from Cornell University, Ithaca, NY. She was the only woman o the Council of Islamic Ideology, Government of Pakistan for six year and an ex-officio member of the Federal Council of Pakistan. She served the Ministry of Education of Pakistan as Director of Public Instruction (colleges, Punjab) and the Chairperson of Commission for Women’s University. Mr. Ioannis Demetria des: Mr. Demetriades is the Chief Executive Officer of Stocknomics, a machine-learning and big-data company. Mr. Demetriades has extensive experience in the high-technology and offshoring industries. He was previously Country Manager for Pakistan for Align Technology where he was responsible for the growth of Align Technology from 40 to 700 people in one year, making Align Technology Pakistan’s largest IT employer at the time. Mr. Zahid Ullah Khan: Mr. Zahid Ullah Khan has been associated with the capital markets on the buy side for over 15 years. Prior to joining Jahangir Siddiqui & Co. Ltd. as its Chief Investment Officer, Mr. Khan was Chief Investment Officer at JS Investments Limited since 2016, where he was responsible for managing fixed income, money market, equity, venture capital, and pension Unit Trusts. Mr. Mohammad Ayub Khuhro: Mr. Ayub Khuhro is the Chief Investment Officer of Faysal Asset Management Limited and has over nine years of experience in asset management and research. Mr. Ayub started his career with PakOman Asset Management Company in the research division before moving on to Faysal Bank Limited as Research Head in the Equity Capital Markets Division.
