Islamabad December 01 2021: Adviser to Prime Minister on Finance and Revenue Shaukat Tarin has underscored the need for rationalizing the salaries, allowances and perks of employees on the basis of performance and quality work.
Addressing a virtual meeting of the Pay and Pension Commission on Tuesday, the advisor said the current model for pay and pension is not sustainable and suggested for adoption of internationally accepted practices in pensions.
He stressed for removal of anomalies in basic pay structure and suggested uniform basic pay structure for all the organizations.
Meanwhile, virtually addressing the 10th Islamic Finance Expo and Conference on Tuesday, Adviser on Finance expressed the government’s commitment to strengthen the Islamic finance industry in the country.
