Karachi May 10 2023: The Government of Sindh, in exercise of the powers conferred under by the law, hereby imposes ban on assemblage of more than four (04) persons, all types of protests, demonstrations, sit-ins and rallies within the territorial limits of Province of Sindh with immediate effect, and till further orders.
The decision has been take as the protests, demonstrations, sit-ins and rallies are being held on major roads, junctions and roundabouts of various cities and towns of Province of Sindh which is resulting in traffic blockades, hindrances in delivery of essential services to the citizens and disruption of public life; and whereas, the violence during these protests is causing damages to public & private properties.
Therefore, the Government is satisfied that situation warrants to take immediate measures in order to maintain law & order and to avoid any untoward incident and public nuisance caused by miscreants and disgruntled anti-social elements.
