Karachi August 26 2024: Shell Pakistan Limited announced profit of PKR 1.0 billion for the second quarter due to PKR 5.4 billion gross profit, according to company filing to the exchange.
Share price of the company is slightly up by 6 paisas or 0.04 percent after the announcement at Pakistan Stock Exchange.
However, the profit is 87 percent lower when compared with the profit of PKR 8.3 reported in the same period last year. Last year Shell International Petroleum Company Limited waived PKR 10.7 billion in technical service fee and other costs to Shell Pakistan Limited.
During the first half of 2024, company reported PKR 1.5 billion in profit against profit of PKR 3.5 billion in the same period last year.
