Riyadh June 14 2023: Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed 1%, or 119 points, higher at 11,533 points today, June 14, recording the highest close in six months.
Total turnover reached almost SAR 7.1 billion. The index is up more than 500 points since the beginning of the month.
Aramco and Al Rajhi Bank rose 1% to SAR 32.65 and SAR 74, respectively. Almarai closed at SAR 64 (+9%), with nearly three million shares traded.
Al Hammadi, Tadawul Group, Savola, Americana, Watani Steel, Seera, Saudi Steel Pipes, and Yanbu Cement increased between 3% and 7%.
Shams was the top gainer, surging 9% to SAR 1.04, as about 37 million shares were exchanged.
On the other hand, Anaam was the top decliner, falling 4% to SAR 25.90.
