Ahmedabad October 15 2023: More fans than ever before were glued to their screens at the one time as India defeated Pakistan in their highly-anticipated clash at the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023.
The blockbuster match between India and Pakistan broke the record for having the most viewers watching a cricket stream at one time according to Disney+ Hotstar.
The broadcaster has reported that a new ‘peak concurrency’ record was set during the clash between the Cricket World Cup hosts and their arch-rivals with 3.5 crore viewers tuning in.

“We would like to thank all the fans who tuned in to watch the India-Pakistan match on Disney+ Hotstar,” said Sajith Sivanandan, Head of Disney+ Hotstar India.
“Your love for the game is what made it possible for Disney+ Hotstar to achieve the remarkable concurrency number of 3.5 crore viewers.
