Lahore June 15 2022: Punjab announced budget today with an outlay of Rs.3,226.4 Billion for FY 2022-23 with estimated surplus of Rs. 125 Billion.
Punjab government will receive share of Rs. 2,020.7 Billion from FBR target revenue of Rs 7,004.0 Billion while Rs. 500.5 Billion is generated from Punjab own sources.
Development budget for FY 2022-23 is Rs.685 Bn which is 22.3% higher from last financial year’s ADP of Rs.560 Bn. Foreign funded projects/programs is Rs 109.1 Billion while Innovative Financing is Rs. 45 Billion.
Current and Services Delivery budget is Rs.1,711.9 Billion up from 1,427.9 Billion with an increase of 20% as compared to last year. Rs.190.58 Billion kept for Subsidy and Relief Package. Increase in Salary and Pension for Government employees by 15 % increase in salary 05% increase in pension.
