Karachi July 24 2024: As the notices uploaded on the Pakistan Stock Exchange, the aggregate amount of Capital Gains Tax (CGT) from the disposal of shares at the Pakistan Stock Exchange for the period from June 1, 2024, to June 30, 2024, will be collected on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, through the respective settling banks of the Clearing Members.
All Clearing Members are requested to ensure the requisite amount is available in their respective settling bank accounts. Necessary details and reports for this period have already been made available in the CGT System.
Additionally, the aggregate amount of CGT from trading future commodity contracts at the Pakistan Mercantile Exchange for the period from February 1, 2024, to June 30, 2024, will also be collected on Wednesday, July 31, 2024. The necessary details and reports for this period have been made available.
Furthermore, the aggregate amount of CGT from the redemption of units of open-end Collective Investment Scheme funds has been finalized for the period from June 1, 2024, to June 30, 2024. Necessary details and reports are available in the CGT System.
