Islamabad May 9 2023: President All Pakistan Private Schools Federation President Kashif Mirza has said that in view of the emergency situation, private schools will remain closed on Wednesday, May 10 across the country.
According to the statement, the next announcement of the schedule of regular classes in private schools will be issued tomorrow after the consultation.
Moreover, British Council inform that due to the sudden developing situation in country, it has cancelled all exams scheduled on Wednesday 10, May including Cambridge school exams both for AM and PM sessions.
The decision was made after carefully evaluating the situation and to ensure the safety of our candidates, their parents and staff members in the event of any untoward incident, British Council statement said.
According to the Secretary of Higher Education Punjab, the new date of the translation of the Qur’an of the ninth grade will be announced later due to its cancellation.
Secretary Higher Education says that all education institutes including colleges and universities will also remain closed across Punjab tomorrow.
According to CEO Education Authority, all government schools in Lahore will also remain closed tomorrow.
