Islamabad August 26 2022: Power Division, Ministry of Energy, issued directives to all electricity distribution companies including K-Electric for PM directions issued in meeting on 22nd August 2022 regarding high fuel charges (FCA) adjustment to be charged in August 2022 billing month to the electricity consumers or XWDISCOs and KE.
XWDISCOs and K-Electric arc directed to charge Rs. 3.8972/Unit FCA in August 2022 billing month from Non-ToU Domestic (Protected) consumers having less than 200 units consumption.
While Non-ToU Domestic (Non-Protected) consumers having less than 200 units consumption and Private Agriculture consumers shall not pay any FCA in August 2022 billing month.
Keeping in view the above criteria, it is further directed to revise the already issued unpaid bills for the month of August 2022 and also extend the due date while issue the credit of FCA in September 2022 billing month to the consumers who have already paid their bills for the month of August 2022.
