Karachi November 30 2022: Pakistan International Bulk Terminal (PIBTL) not enter into an agreement for supply of Thar coal to Gwadar power plant, according to company filing to the exchange.
According to statement issued by the company, “the Company is a Terminal designed for handling of coal / clinker / cement etc., and it is its normal to receive customers’ queries regarding our services during the ordinary course of business.”
The statement further added, “Please rest assured that the Company is fully cognizant of the requirements with regard to dissemination of material information which are applicable on the Company and if and when there will be any material information, the same will be disseminated strictly in accordance with the applicable requirements of the Securities Act, 2015 and Rule Book of Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited.”
About the company
Pakistan International Bulk Terminal Limited was incorporated under the repealed Companies Ordinance, 1984 (now the Companies Act, 2017) on March 22, 2010 as a private limited company. The Company has entered into a Built Operate Transfer (BOT) contract with Port Qasim Authority (PQA) on November 06, 2010 for the construction, development, operations and management of coal and clinker/cement terminal at Port Mohammad Bin Qasim for thirty years. After the expiry date, the Company will transfer all the concession assets to PQA.
