Karachi March 26 2024: Pakistan International Airlines Board of Directors approved the Scheme of Arrangement for restructuring and privatization, according to company filing to the exchange.
“The Board of Directors of the Company in its 83rd meeting held on March 25, 2024 has approved the Scheme of Arrangement (SOA) for restructuring and privatization of Pakistan International Airlines Corporation Limited along with its ancillary modalities, to be filed with Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP)” states the filing.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Monday said privatization of loss-making state-owned entities, institutional reforms, domestic and foreign investment and austerity were priorities of the government.
