Peshawar July 17 2023: Former leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Pervez Khattak has announced the new political party in a private wedding hall in Peshawar but the media was not allowed to enter it.
Sources say that the name of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Parliamentarians has been suggested for the new party and it is said that Pervez Khattak has the support of some 57 former members of the assembly.
Journalists outside the wedding hall were not allowed to take pictures by people dressed in plain clothes and told them that the details and videos of the party will be shared with all the media.
A journalist who was there said that the journalists who tried to take a picture of the wedding hall have had their mobile phones taken away or their pictures have been deleted.
Tickers and some images have been released on WhatsApp. These tickers say that Pervaiz Khattak has announced a new political party called ‘PTI Parliamentarians’ and he has the support of 57 former MLAs for this new party. ‘
Former Chief Minister Mahmood Khan Sham is among them. Apart from them, former members include Shaukat Ali Ishtiaq Armard. Some of the former members of the assembly were seen in the photos that have been released of this meeting.
It has been said in these tickers that ‘We strongly condemn the events like the tragedy of May 9, we all exist since the existence of Pakistan. Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Shah Farman has not been seen anywhere, nor has he been mentioned anywhere in the tickers.
