Karachi March 8 2024: Pakistan workers remittance increased by 13 percent year on year in the month of February 2024 to USD 2,250 million, according to data released by State Bank of Pakistan.
Remittances increased by 31 percent year on year from USA to USD 287 million and higher 19 percent each from Saudi Arabia and UAE to USD 540 million and USD 385 million, respectively.
However, workers remittance during the period from July 2023 to February 2024 decline 1 percent to USD 18,083 million compared to inflows of USD 18,308 million in the same period last year.
