Islamabad April 5 2025: Pakistan’s oil marketing companies (OMCs) oil volumes witnessed increase of 3 percent on year-over-year (YoY), with a total volume of 1.21 million tons in March 2025, according to data released by Oil Companies Advisory Council.
Prices of both Motor Spirit and High Speed Diesel are down approximately 0.40 percent and 3.03 percent year-over-year, according to data published by Pakistan Bureau of Statistics.
In March 2025, High-speed diesel (HSD) experienced a 6 percent YoY increase, with sales increasing to 487 thousand tons compared to 458 thousand tons in March 2024.
Whereas, motor gasoline (MOGAS) recorded an increase of 1 percent YoY, reaching 576 thousand tons in March 2025.
During the month fuel oil (FO) sales decreased by 11 percent year-over-year (YoY) to 54 thousand tons, down from 61 thousand tons in the same month of 2024.
Sales of High Octane grew by 241 percent during the month to 35 thousand tons compared to 10 thousand tons in March 2024.
