Islamabad June 27 2023: Pakistan’s Federal Board of Revenue collects PKR 7,000 trillion in revenue, with four days still left in fiscal year 2023, according to Finance Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar.
“For the first time in the history of Pakistan, the Federal Board of Revenue collects 7,000 billion rupees in the form of revenue till June 26, 2023. It will increase further till June 30 with God willing.” says Finance Minister.
However, country still needs to collect an amount of PKR 470 billion in next four days to meet tax revenue target for the year 2023. Pakistan targets more than PKR 9 trillion in FBR revenue for the next fiscal year.
