Islamabad May 6 2022: As per the latest data released by Pakistan Bureau of Statistics, exports stood at USD 2,873 million while Imports were USD 6,615 million during April 2022.
The data showed that exports during April 2022 were 29.53 percent higher than exports of April 2021 and increased by 3.27 percent compared to exports of March 2022.
During 10MFY22, exports increased by 25.46 percent YoY to USD 26,228 million.
The data showed that imports during April 2022 were 26.19 percent higher than imports of April 2021 while up by 2.96 percent compared to imports of March 2022.
During 10MFY22, imports increased by 46.41 percent YoY to USD 65,492 million
Trade deficit jumped up by 23.75 percent YoY and 2.72 MoM during April 2022 to USD 3,742 million. During 10MFY22, trade deficit increased by 64.79 percent YoY to USD 39,264 million.
