Washington DC February 7 2022: Pakistan will receive an amount of SDR 2,124 equivalent to USD 2,986 million as per the proposed schedule of reviews and purchases after rephasing for Pakistan.
Seventh review that measures December 2021 end performance or continuous criteria will be held on March 4, 2022 and make Pakistan eligible to draw SDR 687 equivalent to USD 966 million.
Eight review that measures end March 2022 performance or continuous criteria will be held on June 3, 2022 and make Pakistan eligible to draw SDR 687 equivalent to USD 966 million.
Ninth and the final review that measures end June 2022 performance or continuous criteria will be held on September 2, 2022 and make Pakistan eligible to draw SDR 750 equivalent to USD 1,054 million.
The EFF was approved by the Executive Board on July 3, 2019 for SDR 4,268 million (about US$6 billion at the time of approval, or 210 percent of quota). So far Pakistan made a purchases of SDR 2,144 (about US$ 3,014 million).
On April 16, 2020 the Pakistan made a SDR 1,015.5 million purchase (50 percent of quota) under the Rapid Financing Instrument which is additional to this program.
