Lahore June 4 2022: Pakistan textile exports drop 2.8 percent during the month of May 2022 to $1.69 billion after making high of $1.74 billion in April 2022, according to data shared by All Pakistan Textile Mills Association.
However, textile exports are up 59% when compared to exports of $1.06 billion during the same month last year.
The exports of textile commodities increased by 28 percent during the first eleven months of the current fiscal year (2021-22) as compared to the corresponding period of last year.
The textile exports were recorded at $17.67 billion in July-May (2021-22) against the exports of $13.76 billion in July-May (2020-21), according to latest APTMA data.
