Karachi June 21 2022: DG Khan Cement Limited, the second largest cement manufacturer in Pakistan, has signed an agreement and established Letter of Credit for supply and installation of On-Grid Solar Power Plant of 6.952 MW at its site in Khairpur, District Chakwal, in favor of Reon Energy.
Solar Power Plant is to be financed 100% through State Bank of Pakistan Financing Scheme for Renewable Energy. Project will be completed in six months and replace electricity generated from fossil fuels and national grid. This will help reduce carbon foot prints which is well aligned with company’s vision and approach to inch up towards environment friendly production process.
