Islamabad October 15 2023: Govenment of Pakistan announced cut of PKR 40.0 per liter in price of Petrol, according to the notification issued by Ministry of Finance.
After this reduction, the new price of Petrol will be PKR 283.38 per liter against prices price of PKR 323.38 per liter. While reduction of PKR 15.0 per liter is announced on Diesel prices and its new price will be PKR 303.18 per liter.
“Owing to the decreasing trend of Petroleum prices in the international market and due to appreciation of Pakistan Rupee against the US$, the Government has decided to revise the existing prices” the notification said.
New prices of petroleum products will be effective from 16th October 2023, according to the notification.
