Karachi May 17 2023: Pakistan earned USD 191 million by providing different Information Technology (IT) services in various countries during the month of April 2023, according to data released by State Bank of Pakistan.
This shows a decline of 23.2 percent as compared to USD 249 million earned through provision of Technology services during the same month of last year. Moreover, Technology exports decreased by 14.7 percent when compared with exports of USD 224 million in March 2023.
Overall, during the period from July 2022 to April 2023 the Information Technology exports decreased by 3 percent to USD 2.13 billion when compared with exports of USD 2.19 billion during the corresponding period last year.
