Islamabad March 16 2023: Government of Pakistan decided to increase the prices of petroleum products, according to the notification issued by finance ministry.
In the last fortnight, Platts Singapore prices registered an increase. This along with Pak Rupee depreciation has resulted in an increase of petroleum product prices in Pakistan.
According to the notification, the price of MS is increased by PKR 5 per liter, HSD by PKR 13.0 per liter and kerosene by PKR 2.56 per liter.
The effective price for MS (Petrol) is PKR 272.00 per liter and new price of Diesel is PKR 293.00 per liter, Kerosene is PKR 190.29 per liter and Light Diesel Oil is PKR 184.68 per liter.
The new prices will be effective from midnight, according to the notification.
