Islamabad April 15 2024: The government on Monday decided to increase the prices of petroleum products for next fortnight based on variation in the international markets, finance ministry said in a statement issue here.
“The government has decided to increase the current prices of Petrol and High Speed Diesel (HSD) by PKR 4.53 liter and PKR 8.14 per liter during the fortnight starting from 16th April, 2024, as recommended by Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority(OGRA),” it said.
Accordingly, petrol would be available at new rate i.e. PKR 293.94 per liter whereas HSD would be sold at PKR 290.38 per liter.
