Islamabad September 4 2022: 26 more deaths have occurred in Pakistan in the last 24 hours, according to NDMA.
According to NDMA, Pakistan’s natural disaster management agency, the total death toll has reached 1290 so far.
22 deaths have occurred in Sindh, while two deaths have occurred in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan. So far, the highest death toll in the flood has occurred in Sindh province, where 492 deaths have been confirmed so far.
The death toll in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province stands at 286. In Balochistan, 259 people have died due to floods, while the number of dead in Punjab is 188. There have been 42 deaths in Pakistan-administered Kashmir. 22 deaths were reported in Gilgit-Baltistan and one in Islamabad.
It should be noted that 11 more people have been injured in the last 24 hours, making the total number of injured 12588. 8321 injured people belong to Sindh while 3737 injured people belong to Punjab. The number of injured people in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is 340. 164 people have been injured in Balochistan, five in Gilgit-Baltistan and 21 in Pakistan-administered Kashmir.
