Karachi December 16 2022: In November 2022, the current account deficit shrank to USD 0.28 billion from USD 0.57 billion in October 2022, according to data released by State Bank of Pakistan.
Cumulatively, during Jul-Nov 2022 it has contracted by more than half to USD 3.1 billion against USD 7.2 billion in Jul-Nov 2021, with imports falling by USD 4.8 billion (negative 16 percent) and exports broadly unchanged.
