Islamabad May 24 2023: Federal Minister of Defense Khawaja Asif says that in the context of the events of May 9, Pakistan is evaluating the possibility of banning Tehreek-e-Insaaf.
Talking to the media, the Federal Minister of Defense said that the intentions of attacking defense installations may be India’s but not any Pakistani’s. A decision has not been taken in this regard yet, but we are definitely reviewing the ban on PTI.
Khawaja Asif said that the events of May 9 did not happen suddenly, but all this was planned and behind the plan of attacks on Corps Commander, GHQ, Gujranwala Cantonment and Mianwali Air Base and other places and humiliating the martyrs. There were nefarious motives.
He said that no civilian building was attacked in Peshawar except for Radio Pakistan, and evidence is emerging regarding all these attacks and the way they were briefed about the attacks.
