Karachi August 10 2023: State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) foreign exchange reserves were decreased for the third consecutive week by USD 110 million on debt repayments, as per data released by the Central Bank.
At present, SBP reserves stand at the level of USD 8,043.4 million as of 4th August 2023.
During the same period, foreign exchange reserves held by commercial banks were decreased by USD 14 million to USD 5,296 million as of 4th August 2023.
Overall reserves held by the country witnessed decrease of USD 125 million to USD 13,339 million during the week ending 4th August 2023.
